Creativity and Play

Creativity is something that you can produce by playing simple things. It is need for self-expression as well as to develop manual skills.

Here are some examples:

Car Toys

In Indonesia, kids in the villages can't afford car toys in the city. So by their creativity, they used Pomelo's skin to make car toys. Then they put long bamboo sticks and have a race with their friends. They also use recycled materials. therefore, it comes instinctively to use your creativity to find something to play with.

Flying Kites

Kite with lights

Using creativity, we can play kites in the night sky also. They put colourful lights on their kites so many people can see their kites flying in the sky. When creating kites also , we have to use our own creativity on how to design it . This activity , help us to stimulate the creative side of our mind.

Kid building play house

In the market , there's a lot of such play house , lego for the children to play with. This is to make them think creatively on how to build it . It also to make them excited when making it as to know the result of their own creation.

Therefore , playfulness comes naturally when we are set with the environment.
